The New York red carpet commencing for famous Hollywood actor Liam Neeson ’s latest action flick ‘Cold Pursuit,’ has been eliminated after backlash over his comments that he once believed a racist “revenge” attack after someone close to him was raped.
In an interview with a leading British newspaper, Liam Neeson recalled an unpleasant incident when he mulled over a racist revenge attack after someone close to him was raped.
“I went up and down areas with a cosh (a club), hoping I’d be approached by somebody, I’m ashamed to say that, and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him,” he said.
Shortly after the interview was released, the ‘The Commuter’ actor faced strong criticism on social media with people calling him racist.
On Tuesday, Following the backlash, the actor, featured on ABC’s Good Morning America to discuss the issue and cleared up that he is not a racist. “I was trying to show honor, to stand up for my dear friend in this terrible, medieval fashion. I am a fairly intelligent guy and that’s why it kind of shocked me when I came down to earth after having these horrible feelings,” he asserted.
The Irish actor also noticed that following the incident, he decided to seek the counsel of a priest and exercise helped him get rid of the anger.
Neeson starrer ‘Cold Pursuit’ is all set to hit the big screens on February 8. In the film, Neeson’s character will be seen searching violent revenge after his son dies mysteriously.

Lady Gaga is all prep to perform for the 61st edition of the Grammys.
As per Variety; Gaga linked for the third-highest number of choices this year with five, for record of the year, song of the year, best song written for visual media for ‘Shallow’; and best pop duo or performance, and best pop performance for ‘Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)’.
Gaga won six Grammy awards, consisting of two in 2010, three in 2011, and one in 2015 for her collab album with Tony Bennett.
This is definitely not the initial that a singer turned into an actress will be performing at the Grammys. Gaga first performed at the event in the year of 2010m followed by once in the year 2016for a Bowie tribute and joined Metallica on stage in 2017.

Amidst loud roar and fanfare, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar unveiled “Sachin Saga VR”, India’s first virtual reality cricket multiplayer headset on the ongoing 23rd International Engineering and Technology Fair at the India Gaming Show.
The cricket legend, who has been working hard with a Pune-based company JetSynthesys from the game’s inception, said the central idea was to offer people an authentic feel of what literally happens in the sport of 22 yards.
Sachin Tendulkar said, “This launch is very special to me because I have been involved with this from last two years. This is also special because such an initiative is happening for the first time and let the people know what a cricketer face on the field. I hope it will now enable people to think twice before criticizing a cricketer for not being able to play the way he/she intended to,”.
The 45-year-old reminisced how they shot the stills for the game in an upscale studio in London, where many Hollywood films have been shot.
“We shot my pictures used in the video in a studio in London, which had 38 cameras all over to shoot each and every moment of time. They have compiled 100 of my favorite innings in their VR headset,” he said.
At the same time, Sachin Tendulkar also emphasized that youngsters should not ignore the outside games which are extremely important for fitness.
“Please strike a balance between indoor and outdoor games. Like the way, when you get into fitness, you have cheat days so in sporting also you should have such days where you can do some indoor fun. This game is all about bonding with friends,” he added.
He also gave a glance to the game by playing an over the match with the company’s CEO Navani Rajan. The launch event saw an audio-visual production of a song “Nacho Nacho Saare” to promote Sachin saga, where the cricketer was seen crooning alongside Sonu Nigam.

The producers of ‘Total Dhamaal’ have dropped a new track titled ‘Mungda’, which is a remixed version of the 70s ‘Inkaar’ song of the same name.
The song starrer Sonakshi Sinha dazzling the dance floor with her catchy moves. Shaan, Jyotica, Subhro ganguly have given their voice for the upcoming version of the song which was sung by Usha Mangeshkar.
The song video also stars Ajay Devgn sharing some dance moves with Sonakshi Sinha.
This is another song from ” Total Dhamaal’ soundtrack. In January, producers of the film released the first song from the film named “paisa Yeh paisa’ which is the recreated version of the original track from Rishi Kapoor’s Karz movie.
The movie trailer was revealed a few weeks back and the team of the movie is seen at their comic best in it. From excellent comic timing to attractive punchlines, to unstable music, the trailer of the film features everything that one can expect from a comedy film.
The film is set up to hit the big screens on February 22.

Leaked Samsung Galaxy Sport features non-rotating thinner bezels: We are still a few weeks away from Samsung's official Unpacked 2019 and before the event, the continuous series of leaks are being revealed that we can expect from the annual gadget show.
Further to the flagship smartphones, Samsung is also probably to announce its next smartwatch, named Galaxy Sport.
As per the latest technology news, the latest renders should be leaked by 91Mobiles show off the asserted smartwatch in a new design.
If the leaked sources are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy Sport smartwatch will mark a change from the rotating bezel design to a narrow-bezel circular dial design.
The buttons present sideways will work like the apps' controller.
Galaxy Sport smartwatch is expected to run with an updated version of the Tizen OS and will have some water resistance capabilities.
Some other features include the Bixby reminder feature, 4GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC-enabled payments.

Microsoft terminates Windows 10 Mobile Support, pushing users to switch to Android: Microsoft has made public that it is ending support for Windows 10 Mobile and asked the users to switch to an Android or iOS device.
As per Cnet, the company is in process of ending support for Windows 10 Mobile on December 10, 2019. The company released the Windows 10 Mobile version 1709, which is its final release, came in October 2017.
For all Windows product, including Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise, the support will end on December 10.

Disney Resort of Shanghai will expand with Zootopia themed land: The Walt Disney Company’s Shanghai Disney Resort is expanding.
As per the latest Hollywood news, on Wednesday, the company announced that it will soon join ‘Zootopia’-themed land to the spreading Chinese theme park.
Shanghai Disneyland began with six themed lands in the year 2016 after nearly two decades of development and negotiation with the Chinese government and opened the seventh one, named as Toy Story Land which was launched last year.
Bob Chapek, Disney’s chairman of parks, experiences and consumer products said, “The rapid rate of expansion at Shanghai Disney Resort demonstrates our confidence and commitment to the company’s future development in China.”
This all-new theme park aims to capitalize on the success of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, which, upon its release in 2016, became a hit worldwide, doing especially good in China.
Disney in one statement said, “With a brand-new attraction, entertainment, merchandise, and food and beverage offerings, the new land will provide guests with even more to experience and enjoy at Shanghai Disneyland than ever before.”
The statement further says, “The new themed land will invite guests to fully immerse themselves in the mammalian metropolis of ‘Zootopia’, ‘where anyone can be anything.”

700 Villages Have Been Abandoned Due To Migration In Ghost Towns Of Uttarakhand: The migration from the undeveloped villages in Uttarakhand has seen a decline in the population in more than 700 of the 16,500 villages across Uttarakhand.
In the time period of merely seven years, 734 villages, especially the villages around the hills of Uttarakhand, have completely deserted, not a single soul living in them.
SS Negi, the Vice President of Uttarakhand Rural Development and Migration Commission, in an interview with PTI, informed that the houses in such ghost villages are lying in ruins.

The scenario can commonly be seen in Pauri Garhwal district where 186 out of 298 villages have been totally unoccupied. And the fact is that - district of Pauri Garhwal is the worst hit by migration.
Villages like Thalda, Toli, Khaira, and Ghiri, across the district, have more left alone homes than occupied ones.
The locals of Thalda, a village in Pauri Garhwal district, told Scroll that they had about 52 houses and a population of 175 at a time. However, today, fewer than 30 families live in this area and the population has dropped down to less than 100.

In the State, there are also a number of villages where the population ranges from 8 to 10, on the other hand, with some places it’s even as low to just 2 or 3 inhabitants.

When wildlife photographer Atif Saeed was snapping pictures of the lion and he attacked him. The incident is of a wildlife park in Lahore, Pakistan. When Saeed found the lion, he was driving around the park.
He went by his side, got out of his vehicle, and started taking pictures. He was about 3 meters (10 feet) away at that time when that lion didn’t appreciate his presence and attacked him.
Saeed took lovely pictures of the lion before hopping into his Jeep. He probably escaped because he left the door open of the vehicle, possibly he was expecting the lion to attack him.
Later he said the whole incident was hilarious and especially after he was lucky to rescue. But at the same time also made one promise - to never put himself in such a situation anymore because it was too deadly.

Photographer Christophe Courteau was almost punched by a gorilla that he was taking photos of, at Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda.
When he and some other photographers were taking photos of Gorilla army, the leader of the troop from gorilla family, 250 kilograms (550 lb) animal named Akarevuro, attacked Courteau.
The injury was not serious for Courteau and only ended up with a small scar on his head. However, he felt like he had been hit by a train.

In South Africa, Jonathan Pledger was taking photographs of wildlife at Kruger National Park, when a white rhinoceros charged at him.
Unlike other people, Pledger didn’t know that a wild animal was around. He only realized that he was in danger when he heard the murmuring of nearby bushes. A rhino jumped out of a bush and started running towards the photographer.
Pledger didn’t run. Rather running, he continued taking pictures as the rhino came closer. The animal either felt shy or just changed its mind as it came closer to Pledger. After some time, rhino ran back to the bushes. Later, Pledger said that he was afraid when the rhino charged.

Mohammed Shaffi was a cameraman, not a photographer when he was almost killed by a mob during the Somali Civil War. Though, a soundman and three photographers who were with Shaffi were killed.

They thought they were returning to his hotel until they drove past his hotel and continued towards the market. Eventually, men released Shafi when they realized he was a Kenyan Muslim. They initially thought that he was a Pakistani Christian.

Photographer Ron Haviv almost lost his life for taking pictures that were found suspicious fighters in the Serbian Tigers unit of war crimes during the 1992 Bosnian War.
The most historic was the picture of a fighter hitting the body of a woman whom his colleagues had just killed.
It was the scene of all killing, Haviv was with paramilitary members when one Serbian fighter soon walked up to death and kicked their bodies. Haviv took this picture.
But the fighters saw him taking pictures and their commander, Zeljko Raznjatovic (aka Arkan) collected the film from Haviv and promised to return the processed photographs.
The fighter, Arkan didn’t realize that Haviv had swapped the film roll and hidden the one containing evidence of the war crimes. Later, Haviv published the pictures.
This made Arkan anger, who vowed to kill Haviv. Some of Arkan’s fighters would later arrest other photographers after realizing the mistake that they are not Haviv.
