Posted by [email protected] on February 15, 2020 at 8:05 AM Comments comments (0)

We have often encountered people who have achieved milestones in their career. They are awarded, pleased and honoured. But what about a REAL LIFE HERO? We have been taught to do good and great will come to us, but how many of us really do it?

Selfless deeds are hard because you don't get praised, no one gives you money and people will tease you. These thoughts did not stop Rashid Ul Haq who we also call Baba.

Baba Blood Donation

Where Is He From?

Baba is from Bhopal and by far you must have got an idea that he does something exceptional for the society. Baba has been working day and night since 37 years not for money, fame or support but for SOCIETY.

What Does He Do?

He is known as Baba and owns a BABA BLOOD DONATION GROUP. He moves door to door, city to city to collect blood. He runs this free service that delivers blood to the people who really need it.
Today he is old but age does not restrict him from travelling. He travels alone in his very old Fiat.

How Do We Support Him?

We do not! yes sadly in an interview with StackUmbrella Baba revealed how much he is harassed by people like us. Instead of offering support, we call him by names such as 'Laden' (for his appearance), 'Bloodsucker' etc. This does not stop him, he moves ahead.
He does not get any social or financial support from the government.

Turning Point In His Life

In 1983, a bank manager wanted blood to save his daughter's life. That was the incident when Baba came as a savior and got the blood for the child. Since then he has been unstoppable. He believes that this is not 'WORK' for him, this is 'HELP'. He does not charge anyone anything and does this to help the society.

How Qualified Is He?

He is merely 10th pass, he has no medical degree but is well aware that the society needs him.

Message For The Youth

At the age where people get retired and go on vacations, Rashid Ul Haq is traveling day and night to help someone like us. If he can do it why can't we?

Baba is doing his bit, Are WE?

On the right shoulder of an ace right-hand batsman, there’s a big tattoo of a celestial eye. Virat explained that why it's so close to his heart,  "I call it the God's eye. So, basically, the all-seeing eye. That everything that's happening is being watched and there's someone always keeping a count of everything that you do. So that makes you feel connected in a way and also, that makes you understand the essence of life and what we need to do as human beings and what our eventual goal is."

About the last but not the least, the latest tattoo Virat Kohli said that "The last one that I have here is finished with an Om symbol, which is the universal sound, which is probably the most consistent thing in the whole universe. Anywhere you observe sounds of the universe that is, you know, what is the most consistent sound that you will hear and that is the essence of life. To understand you're not even a dust particle in the universe and sometimes our ego allows us to think that we're everything. So, I think it's quite astonishing and quite magnificent in a lot of ways. I've started to understand that now... So, I have started to realize strongly that I'm meant to be where I am and this is not random."

In his revelation, he not only explained the reason behind his tattoos but also shared his mantra for life - "I don't need to look any further than both my arms to understand where I was and where I've come now. The only focus I have in life right now is to be able to impact people's lives in a positive way. It needs to be so simple for you to be able to unleash your best self. And you have to go to the basics what we call in cricket. I think it applies to life as well. There's no rocket science, there's no secret to it."
